Prime Rib Rub (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 teaspoons dried rosemary.
02 - 1 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme leaves.
03 - 1 1/2 teaspoons coarse black pepper.
04 - 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon paprika.
06 - 1 tablespoon kosher salt.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine rosemary, thyme, pepper, and paprika in small bowl. Crush rosemary with back of spoon.
02 - Pat prime rib dry with paper towels.
03 - Sprinkle salt evenly over all sides of meat from 6 inches above.
04 - Sprinkle spice mixture over meat and gently massage in.
05 - Wrap meat tightly in plastic wrap twice, refrigerate 6-24 hours.

# Notes:

01 - Recipe amount for 5-6 lb boneless or 7-8 lb bone-in roast.
02 - Let meat absorb flavors at least 6 hours.
