Combine rosemary, thyme, pepper, and paprika in small bowl. Crush rosemary with back of spoon.

Pat prime rib dry with paper towels.

Sprinkle salt evenly over all sides of meat from 6 inches above.

Sprinkle spice mixture over meat and gently massage in.

Wrap meat tightly in plastic wrap twice, refrigerate 6-24 hours.
