Cheesy Philly Style Meatloaf (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Meatloaf

01 - 1 lb ground beef
02 - 1 cup bread crumbs
03 - 1 egg
04 - 1/2 cup milk
05 - 1/2 cup diced onion
06 - 1/2 cup diced green pepper
07 - 1 cup sliced mushrooms
08 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
09 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
10 - Salt and pepper to taste
11 - 1 cup provolone cheese, sliced

→ For the Glaze

12 - 1/2 cup beef broth
13 - 1/4 cup ketchup
14 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
15 - 1 teaspoon mustard

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, milk, onion, green pepper, mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
03 - Press half the meat mixture into a loaf pan. Layer with provolone cheese, leaving a border. Top with remaining meat and seal edges well.
04 - Mix beef broth, ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Pour over meatloaf. Bake for 1 hour until done. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
