Better Than Takeout Fried Rice (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 cups cold, leftover rice (Jasmine or long-grain).
02 - 1 cup mixed carrots and peas.
03 - 2 large eggs.
04 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce.
05 - 1 tablespoon sesame oil.
06 - 2 cloves fresh garlic.
07 - 2 tablespoons cooking oil.
08 - 2 green onions.
09 - Salt and pepper to taste.

# Instructions:

01 - Get your ingredients ready. Break up any rice clumps and dice the veggies.
02 - Heat oil in a hot pan and cook the beaten eggs until just set.
03 - Cook minced garlic until fragrant, then stir-fry carrots and peas.
04 - Add rice to the pan and break up any clumps while stirring.
05 - Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil, add salt and pepper.
06 - Mix in the cooked eggs and top with green onions.

# Notes:

01 - Use day-old rice for better texture.
02 - Add chicken, shrimp or tofu if desired.
03 - Keeps in fridge for 3 days or freezer for 1 month.
