Spread strawberry pie filling evenly in bottom of 9x13-inch baking dish.

Beat cream cheese, sugar, and egg until smooth in a bowl.

Drop spoonfuls of cheesecake mixture over filling and spread slightly.

Sprinkle cake mix evenly over the layers.

Thinly slice cold butter and distribute across top of cake mix.

Bake 40-45 minutes until top is golden brown and filling bubbles.
