Smothered Chicken and Rice (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs.
02 - 1 teaspoon paprika.
03 - 1 teaspoon onion powder.
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder.
05 - 2 tablespoons olive oil.
06 - 1 medium onion, diced.
07 - 2 cloves garlic, minced.
08 - 1 cup heavy cream.
09 - 1 cup cream of mushroom soup.
10 - 1 cup long-grain white rice.
11 - 2 cups chicken broth.
12 - Salt and pepper to taste.
13 - Fresh parsley for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder.
02 - Sear chicken in oil 5-7 minutes per side until golden. Remove from pan.
03 - Sauté onion and garlic 3-4 minutes. Add cream and mushroom soup, simmer.
04 - Return chicken to pan, cover and simmer 20-25 minutes.
05 - Boil broth, add rice, cover and cook 18-20 minutes until fluffy.
06 - Place chicken over rice, top with sauce and parsley.

01 - Can use skinless chicken for lighter version.
