Smash Burgers with Baconnaise (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend).
02 - 4 burger buns.
03 - 4 slices American cheese.
04 - 1/2 onion, finely chopped.
05 - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil.
06 - Salt and pepper to taste.
07 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise.
08 - 2 tablespoons cooked bacon, crumbled.
09 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika.
10 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder.
11 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Heat large skillet or cast-iron pan over medium-high heat.
02 - Form beef into 4 balls, then smash into thin patties in hot oiled pan.
03 - Cook 2-3 minutes per side, adding cheese after flipping.
04 - Mix mayonnaise, bacon, paprika and garlic powder for baconnaise.
05 - Toast buns, spread with baconnaise, add patties and optional parsley.
