Crispy Parmesan Chicken with Garlic Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Chicken

01 - 4 small-medium chicken breasts (or 2 large, halved)
02 - Salt and pepper to taste
03 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

→ For the Creamy Garlic Sauce

04 - 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1 cup light cream or heavy cream
06 - 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning or oregano
07 - ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
08 - 1 cup spinach, chopped (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes per side, or until golden and crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
02 - Lower the heat and add the minced garlic to the pan. Sauté for about 30 seconds, then pour in the cream, stirring continuously. Add the Italian seasoning and grated parmesan cheese, mixing until smooth. Stir in the chopped spinach (if using) and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
03 - Return the cooked chicken to the pan, spooning the sauce generously over the top. Simmer for 1 minute, then remove from heat. Serve hot with pasta, roasted veggies, or mashed potatoes.

# Notes:

01 - For extra crispiness, coat the chicken in a mix of parmesan and panko breadcrumbs before cooking.
02 - Add red pepper flakes to the sauce for a spicier kick.
03 - Use freshly grated parmesan for the best flavor and texture.
04 - Freeze cooked chicken and sauce separately for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before reheating.
