Nashville Hot Mozzarella Sticks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound block whole milk mozzarella cheese, sliced into sticks.
02 - 1 cup all-purpose flour.
03 - 3 large eggs, whisked.
04 - 1 cup panko breadcrumbs.
05 - 1 cup plain breadcrumbs.
06 - 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper.
07 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
09 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder.
10 - Salt and pepper to taste.
11 - Avocado oil for frying.
12 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted.
13 - 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper.
14 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar.
15 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (for sauce).
16 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (for sauce).
17 - 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (optional).
18 - 2-3 tablespoons hot sauce.

# Instructions:

01 - Slice mozzarella into 3-inch long, 1/2-inch thick sticks.
02 - Prepare flour, egg, and seasoned breadcrumb mixtures in separate bowls.
03 - Coat in flour, egg, breadcrumbs, then repeat egg and breadcrumbs for double coating.
04 - Freeze breaded sticks 15-20 minutes.
05 - Fry in 375°F oil for 1-2 minutes until golden. Drain on rack.
06 - Mix melted butter with spices, sugar and hot sauce.
07 - Dip fried sticks in hot glaze and serve immediately.
