Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 tablespoons soy sauce.
02 - ½ tablespoon dark soy sauce.
03 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar.
04 - 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce.
05 - 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon.
06 - 2 tablespoons mirin.
07 - ¼ cup water, plus 2 tablespoons divided.
08 - Black pepper to taste.
09 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch.
10 - 1 pound ground beef.
11 - 3 green onions, chopped and divided.
12 - 5 cloves garlic, minced.
13 - 2 teaspoons ginger, minced.
14 - ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes.
15 - ½ teaspoon sesame oil.
16 - 8 ounces noodles of choice.
17 - ½ tablespoon oil for frying.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine soy sauces, brown sugar, hoisin, mirin, water, and pepper. Mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water separately.
02 - Boil noodles according to package directions.
03 - Brown ground beef in wok until no pink remains, drain and set aside.
04 - Cook white parts of onion, garlic, ginger, and pepper flakes in oil for 30 seconds.
05 - Add sauce mixture, cornstarch slurry, and beef. Cook 4 minutes.
06 - Toss in noodles, green onion tops, and sesame oil.

# Notes:

01 - Can substitute mirin with rice vinegar.
02 - Dark soy sauce can be omitted.
03 - Ready in just 20 minutes total.
