Heat oven to 400°F. Grease mini muffin tin. Cook and crumble sausage, drain fat.

Stir pancake mix and water until smooth. Add cooked sausage, cheese, and maple syrup.

Pour batter into muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.

Cook 12-15 minutes until golden brown and toothpick comes out clean.

Let cool few minutes before removing from tin. Serve with extra syrup if desired.
