01 - 48 tater tots, frozen
02 - 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, freshly grated

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven according to the package instructions for the tater tots. Typically, this is around 425°F (220°C). Spread the frozen tater tots evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 28 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
02 - Once baked, remove the tater tots from the oven and let them cool slightly so they're easy to handle. Thread 4 to 6 tater tots onto each skewer, arranging them neatly.
03 - Arrange the skewered tater tots on a clean parchment-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle each skewer generously with grated cheddar cheese, followed by finely chopped bacon bits. Top with half of the chopped green onions.
04 - Return the skewers to the oven and bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
05 - Remove the skewers from the oven and garnish with the remaining green onions for added freshness. Serve immediately with a dollop of sour cream on the side for dipping.
