Honey Pepper Chicken Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
02 - 12 oz penne pasta
03 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
04 - Salt and pepper, to taste

→ For the Sauce

05 - 2 tablespoons honey
06 - 1 tablespoon black pepper (adjust to taste)
07 - 1 cup heavy cream
08 - ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
09 - 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
10 - 1 tablespoon butter

→ For Garnish

11 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Boil pasta in salted water according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water before draining.
02 - Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Cook in olive oil over medium-high heat for 6-7 minutes per side until done (165°F). Rest before slicing.
03 - In same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
04 - Add honey and black pepper. Simmer 2-3 minutes until slightly caramelized. Add cream and simmer 3-4 minutes until thickened.
05 - Add pasta to sauce and toss to coat. Stir in Parmesan until melted. Add sliced chicken and toss to combine.
06 - Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.

# Notes:

01 - Use reserved pasta water to thin sauce if needed
02 - Adjust black pepper to taste
03 - Can substitute any pasta shape
