Honey Pepper Chicken Mac (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 16 ounces spiral noodles.
02 - 25 ounces breaded chicken strips.
03 - 5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled.
04 - 3/4 cup honey.
05 - 1/4 cup light brown sugar.
06 - 3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce.
07 - 1/4 cup pineapple juice.
08 - Juice of 1 lemon.
09 - 1 tablespoon vinegar.
10 - 1 teaspoon black pepper.
11 - 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper.
12 - 1 stick butter.
13 - 2 cups heavy cream.
14 - 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese.
15 - 1 cup mozzarella cheese, freshly shredded.
16 - 3/4 cup colby jack cheese, freshly shredded.
17 - 2-3 cloves garlic, minced.
18 - Fresh basil for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Prepare breaded chicken strips according to package instructions.
02 - Cook spiral noodles to al dente, then drain.
03 - Combine honey, sugar, soy sauce, juices and peppers. Boil then simmer 15 minutes until thickened.
04 - Melt butter with cream, gradually stir in all cheeses and garlic.
05 - Mix pasta with cheese sauce and bacon. Coat chicken in honey sauce.
06 - Top pasta with chicken, garnish with basil and extra bacon if desired.
