Quick One-Pan Protein Dinner (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 lb (450g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
02 - 8 oz (225g) sausage, sliced
03 - 2 cups broccoli florets

→ Sauce & Seasonings

04 - 3 tbsp unsalted butter
05 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 2 tbsp olive oil
07 - Salt and pepper to taste

→ Garnish

08 - Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
09 - Lemon wedges (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Peel and devein the shrimp, leaving the tails on if desired. Slice the sausage into bite-sized pieces and chop the broccoli into small florets.
02 - Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Sauté the broccoli florets for 5-6 minutes until tender but still crisp. Season with salt and pepper, then remove and set aside.
04 - Add the shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet.
05 - In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and golden.
06 - Return the cooked sausage, broccoli, and shrimp to the skillet. Pour the garlic butter sauce over the mixture and toss to combine, ensuring everything is evenly coated.
07 - Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon if desired.

# Notes:

01 - This dish can be served over rice, pasta, or cauliflower rice for a low-carb option.
02 - Any type of sausage works well in this recipe - try andouille for spice or kielbasa for a smoky flavor.
03 - For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine when making the garlic butter sauce.
