Eggnog Tiramisu (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2/3 cup strong brewed coffee.
02 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for syrup).
03 - 1/4 cup eggnog (for syrup).
04 - 1 1/2 cups heavy cream.
05 - 16 ounces mascarpone cheese.
06 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar (for filling).
07 - 3/4 cup eggnog (for filling).
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
09 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg.
10 - Pinch of salt.
11 - 24 Savoiardi ladyfingers (7 oz package).
12 - Cocoa powder for dusting.

# Instructions:

01 - Simmer coffee and sugar until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and stir in eggnog. Cool completely.
02 - Beat heavy cream to stiff peaks. Set aside.
03 - Beat mascarpone, sugar, eggnog, vanilla, nutmeg and salt until combined. Fold in whipped cream.
04 - Dip ladyfingers in coffee syrup and arrange in 8-inch dish. Top with half the filling.
05 - Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers and more filling. Pipe remaining filling on top.
06 - Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours.
07 - Dust with cocoa powder just before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Can use instant espresso powder for coffee.
02 - Cut ladyfingers after soaking for easier handling.
03 - Must chill at least 6 hours before serving.
