Bunny-Shaped Buns Recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 1 cup (270g) plain yogurt
02 - 1 cup (150g) self-raising flour
03 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
04 - Butter for greasing

→ Optional Decoration

05 - Edible marker for drawing faces
06 - Melted butter for brushing

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 180°C (360°F). In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, self-raising flour, and salt until a soft dough forms. If the dough feels too wet, add an extra tablespoon of flour until the consistency is manageable.
02 - Divide the dough into 6 equal portions (about 70g each). From each portion, create one larger ball (45g) for the bunny's face and two smaller balls (12g each) for the ears. Roll the smaller balls into stubby sausage shapes for the ears.
03 - Generously grease a large ovenproof dish with butter. Place the 6 larger balls evenly spaced in the dish to form the bunny faces. Attach the ear shapes to each face by pressing them gently onto the top sides of the balls.
04 - If desired, lightly brush the tops of the buns with melted butter for added flavor and shine.
05 - Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the buns are golden brown on top and cooked through. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
06 - Serve the buns warm. Optionally, use an edible marker to draw bunny faces for extra cuteness. Reheat leftovers in the microwave for 10 seconds for best texture.

# Notes:

01 - For those without self-raising flour, substitute with 1 cup of plain flour plus 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
02 - The dough can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 4 months.
