Creamy High-Protein Pasta Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 oz pasta

→ Sauce Ingredients

02 - 1 cup cottage cheese, full fat / whole milk
03 - 3/4 cup whole milk
04 - 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
05 - 1 tsp cornstarch
06 - 1 tsp garlic powder
07 - 1/2 tsp basil
08 - 1/2 tsp oregano
09 - Salt, to taste
10 - Black pepper, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - First, cook the pasta according to the package directions. Set aside.
02 - Add the cottage cheese, whole milk, parmesan cheese, cornstarch, garlic powder, dried oregano, and dried basil to a blender. Blend until smooth.
03 - Transfer the blended mixture to a large pan on the stove over low heat. Heat slowly, stirring occasionally, until warmed to your liking (about 5 minutes).
04 - Add the cooked pasta to the alfredo sauce. Toss to combine evenly. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
05 - Serve immediately and enjoy! Garnish with extra fresh parmesan cheese, fresh parsley, and cracked black pepper if desired.
