Chinese Chicken Cabbage Stir-Fry (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tablespoon butter.
02 - 1 medium onion, sliced.
03 - 2 cloves garlic, minced.
04 - 1 pound chicken breast, diced.
05 - 2 cups cabbage, chopped.
06 - 1 bell pepper, sliced.
07 - 1 carrot, julienned.
08 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce.
09 - 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional).
10 - 1 teaspoon sesame oil.
11 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
12 - 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional).
13 - 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Slice onion, mince garlic, chop vegetables, and dice chicken into bite-sized pieces.
02 - Melt butter and cook diced chicken until golden brown, 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
03 - Stir-fry onion and garlic 1-2 minutes, then add cabbage, pepper and carrot for 5 minutes.
04 - Return chicken to pan, add sauces and seasonings. Add cornstarch slurry if desired.
