Garlic Bread Recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Bread Base

01 - 1 loaf of French or Italian bread (about 14 oz)

→ Garlic Butter Mixture

02 - ½ cup salted butter, softened
03 - 3–4 cloves of garlic, minced (or 1 tablespoon of garlic powder)
04 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
05 - Salt and pepper, to taste

→ Cheese Topping

06 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
07 - ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

→ Garnish

08 - Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
02 - Slice the loaf of bread lengthwise into two halves. Place them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
03 - In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning (if using), salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and well blended.
04 - Generously spread the garlic butter mixture over both halves of the bread, ensuring even coverage for maximum flavor.
05 - Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan evenly over the buttered bread halves, covering the surface completely.
06 - Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. For an extra crispy topping, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end, watching closely to avoid burning.
07 - Once done, remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley for added color and freshness. Slice into portions and serve warm.

# Notes:

01 - For a spicier twist, add red pepper flakes to the cheese topping.
02 - Feel free to experiment with different cheeses like cheddar or gouda.
03 - This recipe can be made ahead of time; assemble it and refrigerate until ready to bake.
