Breakfast Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 9-inch refrigerated pie crust.
02 - 1 cup breakfast sausage, cooked.
03 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
04 - 1/2 cup diced bell pepper.
05 - 1/4 cup chopped green onions.
06 - 6 large eggs.
07 - 1 cup milk.
08 - Salt and pepper to taste.
09 - 1/4 cup crumbled bacon.
10 - Fresh chives for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 375°F. Place crust in pie dish, prick bottom, pre-bake 10 minutes.
02 - Whisk eggs and milk with seasonings. Stir in sausage, cheese, peppers and onions.
03 - Pour mixture into pre-baked crust, spread evenly.
04 - Bake 30-35 minutes until set. Add bacon last 5 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before serving.
