Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Mix well and set aside.

In separate bowl, mash bananas with fork then combine with milk and egg, beat until well combined.

Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, stir until combined. Fold in chocolate chips. Batter will be slightly lumpy.

Grease pan with butter over medium heat. Pour ¼ cup batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form and bottom is golden, about 2 minutes per side.

Remove from pan and repeat with remaining batter.

Top pancakes with sliced banana and chocolate chips, drizzle with maple syrup. Serve immediately.
