# Ingredients:

01 - 8 large jalapeño peppers, halved lengthwise and seeded
02 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
03 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
04 - 2 green onions, finely chopped
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

→ For Wrapping

07 - 16 slices of bacon

→ Optional Garnish

08 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Mix until smooth and well combined.
03 - Spoon the cheese mixture generously into each halved jalapeño pepper, packing it in gently to ensure the filling stays secure.
04 - Wrap each stuffed jalapeño half with a slice of bacon, securing the ends with toothpicks if necessary to keep the bacon in place.
05 - Place the wrapped jalapeños on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart to allow even cooking.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
07 - Remove from the oven and let the poppers cool slightly. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving, if desired.

# Notes:

01 - To reduce spiciness, remove all seeds and white membranes from the jalapeños.
02 - For extra flavor, brush the bacon with a bit of honey or brown sugar during the last few minutes of baking.
